I have heard about a magnetic treatment for hard water that is very “green”. Do you offer this product? Would it work for Prince Edward county well water? I am interested in getting softer water without having an impact on the environment.

Magnetic water treatment does not remove hardness and uses electricity. See http://www.cwqa.com/industry_issues/catalytic.php for information. They are also the source for information about the environmental friendliness of softeners in rural situations.
